Case Closed

Today we found that it was Mrs Taaffe who did the crime. When she came in we told her all our evidence that we had. She confessed on the  23rd on November 2020. She did it because she needed an HDMI cord and she thought that she would just come to get whetu's and when she saw the chocolate so she took some. She turned the alarm off at the office and them came in, When she was leaving she was in a hurry because she thought someone was coming.

Athletics reflection

On Tuesday it was athletics. For our first event we did long jump, My biggest jump was 3.88 and my smallest jump 3.40. I came first drawing with Patrick with a jump of 3.88. My favourite two events are 100m and 200m because I'm good at sprints, In the final for 100m I came third and in the 200m I came fifth. Next, we went to my least favourite event and that was shot put my biggest throw was only 4.29. Then I did the 800m and I came third. In high jump, I came fifth and I only got up to 1.13. In the relay I ran last and we ended coming third.

fingerprint lifting



 Step 1: Get a brush with cornflour or special dusting powder. 


Step 2: brush over fingerprint.


Step 3: Then put the Sellotape over the top to get the fingerprint.


Step 4: Then stick onto black paper.

For my fingerprints, I have 10 loops but in those loops, I have one double loop. most people have loops. We rolled our fingers in ink and rolled them onto paper to see  what they were.

For the maths mystery, this week it was about emojis. The easiest part was clue number one because it was just a couple of easy questions and the hardest part was clue number five because once we figured out how to work it out it was pretty easy.

This week for the letter of the week the letter was M, The hardest part was finding a proper noun because I couldn't think of one to do the easiest part was finding a common noun.

Maori phrase

For Maori activity this week we had to choose a phrase and then put the meaning of the phrase, a picture to represent, video on how to say it and when you can use the phrase. The easiest one was the video.

Mystery of the missing medal


For the literacy mystery, I worked with Janko. The hardest part was getting one letter out of the word and the easiest thing was figuring out what the culprit's name started with.

Zoo and emoji coordinates


The hardest part was drawing the animals in the zoo and the easy part was finding the animals in the zoo. 

Epsom salt crystals

 

Today for our science we made epsom salt crystals. To make them we mixed epsom salt and boiling water. Then we painted it onto black paper, once it had crystallised it went white and you could see what you drew.
