Troop challenge task 2

The hardest part was getting the poles though because when we put it through it got a lot and if it gets caught it can rip the tent.

What worked well for us as we got and did one step at a time and we did it as a troop.

I think we leant not to push the poles in to fast otherwise the pole gets caught on the tent.

This week for chapter chat I did a way with words and I did an acrostic poem. I did some sentences just about Ghost and I did one about his Dad shot the gun. The hard part was trying to find what text I was going to do because there is so many cool fonts and the easy part was deciding was I was going to write.

The best place to put your shelter is flat and not close to water.

The shelter needs to protect you from bad weather and bugs

You can make your shelter out of rope, rocks, tarp and sticks.

A pro a sleeping in the bush is fresh air get out of the house. A con is you might get bitten by bugs and the shelter might fall down.

This week for chapter chat I did research on shoe brands. I found out heaps of stuff about the different types of shoes. If you want to buy running shoes I would get puma shoes because they have heaps of grip so when your running you don't slip. Adidas are lightweight so are good for running too but they don't the best grip.

Calendar Art 2019 T 4

For my calendar this year I did a drawing and then you covered all the drawings up with different coloured paper. After that, you would do some dizziness on top of the paper. The hard bit was cutting the paper into small bits. the easy bit was drawing everything.

This week we have started our new book call ghost, the main character is Castle. This week for Chapter Chat I did a team flag for the defender's track team. The hardest bit was doing the running track and tracing the runner. The easy bit was doing the flag pole and the lettering.

My holidays

In the holidays my sister went to go play hockey in wellington for a week. She plays for Thames Vally and the cup they were playing for was the collier cup. The first game was on Monday and the last game on Friday. My Mum, Dad, other sister and I went down on Tuesday. we were going home on Saturday but Mum and Dad saw that there was a game on at Westpac Stadium on Saturday night so we went to it so we had to stay another night and go home the next day.
